OUR STORY
It started with a vision, to create and start something that would bring joy and happiness to everyone. So after many ideas we decided on a gelato van. It couldn't be just any gelato van, it had to fit into a certain vision, a vintage look that is soft and elegant. We bought our 1973 VW T2 Kombi and started the two year process of converting her into into the beauty you see above. She really is the perfect backdrop to any event.
After two years of running the Kombi, we decided as a family to expand our business and find the perfect location for a little gelato shop. We found a little gem at 2 Wharf Road, Toronto, NSW. It is overlooking the gorgeous Lake Macquarie and open swimming baths, it is also conveniently placed next to a children's play park.
In our shop we have two display freezers that house 24 different flavours of gelato to choose from.
Book our Kombi
Make a statement at your wedding, party or event and hire our stunning vintage VW 1973 Kombi to serve your guests scoops of Australia's finest gelato, all served in waffle cones or cups. Decked in decorative bunting, the hand painted kombi promises to bring the 'wow' factor to your big day.
Tailored packages available.
Minimum bookings of 100 guests. Single serve gelato in either a waffle cone or paper cup with wooden spoon and napkin. Depending on venue location a travel cost may be added, but will obviously be discussed before booking.
A 50% deposit will be required to secure the date and the remaining balance is to be paid 7 days before event.

All of our packaging is from Green Pack.
We serve our gelato in eco-friendly bamboo fibre cups. They are 100% biodegradable and compostable.
Our napkins are made from 100% recycled paper, making them completely biodegradable.
We use wooden waxed gelato spoons, no plastic here!!
